Bush lets Americans down… again

You always hear talk about lame duck presidents. But Bush surpasses all my expectations. First he tried jamming the shamnesty bill down our throats. Now he has pardoned Libby. What a travesty.
And it is not that I disagree with the pardon. Libby’s whole trial was nothing more than a witch hunt to take a chunk out of the Bush administration. But there are others who deserve a pardon/commutation more than Libby does. I am talking about the two border control agents Compean and Ramos.
The Bush administration has said that those agents must go through the “process” before they can be considered for a pardon by Bush. Well what kind of process did Libby go through. Not the kind of hoops that others must jump through.
The bottom line is this… if you break the law AND have been wronged by the system AND are a personal friend of Bush then you need not worry. Cronyism is still alive and well on Pennsylvania Avenue.
